As Chief People Officer, Tanya has joined Alida to lead the organization's global talent strategy.  With over two decades of combined experience in the high tech, interactive entertainment, and film and VFX industry spaces, she is a seasoned and deeply passionate people leader. Most recently, Tanya served as the Chief People Officer at Tigera Inc., a security for cloud-native applications company. Prior to that, she served as Chief People Officer for Traction on Demand, a professional services and SaaS company, which was acquired by Salesforce Inc. She has held senior leadership positions at Electronic Arts Canada Inc., Sony Pictures Imageworks Inc., and Urthecast.  She was also Founder and Executive Director of a pre-professional ballet school for 4 years until she sold her company in order to fully refocus and return to her career in the growth and development of people strategy and culture, specifically in high tech.

Tanya has extensive experience in building high performance cultures and teams, human capital strategy, global talent acquisition, organizational design, employee development and education, diversity and inclusion, total rewards program development, HR technology and operations, and scaling and leading organizations through rapid growth across multiple continents. She has served as a Board Member for the Burnaby Board of Trade and is a strong believer in contributing to the success of others through fostering a strong sense of self and encouraging people to explore and realize their true and full potential. 

As a bi-racial cis-gender female whose parents are both Canadian Immigrants, as well as a proud mother of one daughter who's currently in her second year of university, Tanya is an advocate for and believer in the celebration of diversity and the equitable treatment of all within and outside of the workplace. Tanya holds an MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University and continues to further her education through executive programs at Harvard Business School.
