Joe Finneran, is a seasoned engineering leader with over 25 years of rich and diverse experience in the software development sector. His extensive career has been marked by a commitment to excellence, innovation, and leadership in the ever-evolving landscape of technology. As Alida’s Global Head of Research & Development, he is passionate about building market leading solutions to allow organizations to derive top quality feedback and insights from their customers.
With a profound understanding of software engineering principles, Joe has played pivotal roles in the development and implementation of cutting-edge software solutions. His expertise spans a wide range of domains, including but not limited to fin-tech solutions, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data engineering. Joe has built and led highly effective software engineering teams, across the public and private sector in Europe, North America and the Caribbean. Prior to joining Alida, Joe was Vice President of Engineering for Eventbase, a market leader in the live event technology space for more than a decade.
Prior to joining Eventbase, Joe was CTO of JUDI.AI where he led the development of an innovative AI powered platform focused on revolutionizing how financial institutions lend to small and medium sized businesses. Joe also has significant experience in the financial sector, having led large software engineering teams in organizations such as Western Union and PayPal.
